Teton Range

Teton Range, April 10th 2023, captured on my fabulous Fuji GX617 camera with the EBC Fujinon T 300MM f8 lens on Kodak TMX 100 film. Why “fabulous?” With an array of tack-sharp Fujinon lenses, this extraordinary camera produces negatives that measure 6 x 17 CM negatives, providing the image to make BIG beautiful prints up to 8 feet wide with exceptional detail.

On my recent trip to Jackson Wyoming to deliver my prints to Shari Brownfield Fine Art, I was smitten by the raw power and majesty of the Teton Range. I avoid photographing in the National Park system, as it feeds an idea antithetical to my art, which is, that the beauty of the natural world lives only within its boundaries. Also, the grandeur of the National Parks is inconsistent with the intimacy and delicacy of the subject I choose to celebrate in my work. But sometimes I see things that simply must be photographed.
