A History of the Crystal Springs Watershed at Odd Fellows Lodge in Half Moon Bay
Appreciating history can be a simple yet powerful way to alter our day-to-day experience. This evening’s presentation beings with the Ramaytush, or Costanoan peoples, who inhabited the Peninsula for thousands of years before the arrival of Spanish Explorer Gaspar de Portola in 1769, and ends with the 10 years I spent exploring the land.
Please join me in celebrating this unique 24,000-acre watershed that provides water to San Francisco and allows for the high quality of life we enjoy here on the Peninsula. Your purchase of a ticket supports our community by raising funds for Half Moon Bay’s Odd Fellows’ Youth Services Program.
