Unique Piece for Lifelong Friend in Pebble Beach, California

It is a true joy to be able to transform the living spaces for people you love. Such was the case for this installation of the last print in the 25-print edition of Field Mustard on the famed 17-Mile Drive in Pebble Beach. My client is an extraordinary person and talented painter, whose philanthropy and service is renowned not just in Silicon Valley but around the world through her partnership with The Forgotten International, whose mission is the alleviation of poverty and suffering worldwide. Her son was a brother to me until his untimely death in 2017, and I see this piece as a wonderful expression of the love I’ve shared with him and his family over many years.

Field Mustard #25/25, #40 x 120” Chromogenic Development Print, laminated to aluminum plate

Closer to home, her family business has acquired many of my prints, both landscape works and color cameraless images. Decades of love, laughter, and art, as well as loss and grief, have built a relationship that has developed into something that is beautiful.

Installation day!
