My talented wife Julie B. and I are participating in Woodside’s annual Gift Faire at the Village Hub adjacent to the Woodside Village Church, where my family regularly attended after moving to town in 1954.
Julie will have a collection of her unique hand-made artisan jewelry, including bracelets, earrings and necklaces, and I will have a few prints and copies of my books including my homage to Woodside’s Djerassi Resident Artists Program, Eighteen Days in June for your holiday gift-giving plans.

This body of work was made during Buelteman’s 1996 residency at the world-renowned Djerassi Resident Artists Program in Woodside California, and was subsequently published in the year 2000 as a fund-raising vehicle for the program’s endowment. With an introduction by former Poet Laureate of the United States under President Bill Clinton, Robert Hass, the collection is a testament to the power of “The Gift of Time” for which the program is known. Made with film that is blind to visible light but sensitive to the infra-red spectrum, these images reach beyond the perceivable to the ineffable world beyond human sight.
