PRICE: The normal retail price for this piece of art including the print, mounting, framing, and crating and insured shipping to anywhere in the United States would be $800.00.

However, as the Print of the Month for February 2023 purchased directly from the studio, you pay only for the print itself: $500.00 USD plus California Sales Tax until March 31st, 2022. International buyers will be charged for crating, shipping and insurance.

This is an 8x10” cyanotype on cotton fabric, the technique invented by Sir John Herschel in 1852 for making monochromatic images as well as graphic images such as blueprints. Unlike my gelatin silver prints which rely on the forced oxidation of silver, cyanotypes are made by the oxidation of iron as processed in water.
