This triptych entitled Vitus vinifera, is a single work of art, incorporating three different images of the same subject, in this case, a grapevine collected from Mumm Cuvée Winery located in the world-renowned Napa Valley. The first image was created using both fiber-optic light and the high-voltage discharge, the center image was made with the high-voltage discharge and xenon-gas strobe light, and the third with an extremely high-voltage long-duration discharge that caused the entire vine to glow.
This archival digital pigment print measures 20x40”, is printed on Moab Entrada 100% Cotton Rag paper, and is hung from Orskov satin-finished aluminum channels.
